Customer Care Representative - Part Time / Full Time

Barossa Veterinary Service is seeking a customer service professional who is driven by the desire to deliver a positive and memorable experience. We are not a ‘normal’ place to work! - Can demonstrate attention to detail, warmth, and a genuine passion for the human-animal bond
Core responsibilities:
Providing administrative support for our clients with patient bookings, pet insurance claims, prescription management, client orders and general enquiries
- Being responsible, (with a co-worker), for managing phone lines and always greeting clients warmly and respectfully
- Maintaining waiting room and merchandise displays
- Assisting with patient follow up and client support
- Maintaining our high standards of greeting clients, answering phones, and meeting the needs of patients and their humans in the waiting room
- Skills and experience required:
- Experience in a Customer Service or Reception/Administration role
- Proven ability to work well in a busy environment
- Ability to interact with people in a professional, confidential and compassionate manner
- Willingness and ability to go above and beyond to deliver a memorable and positive customer experience
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on people and their individual needs
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Excellent digital competency across multiple online platforms and devices
- Previous experience in in the Veterinary or Healthcare/Medical industries is preferred
- Capability to discuss financial matters in a compassionate way
- Ability to calmly and effectively solve problems
